Who owns CashUSA?

Back

What the Search Reveals:

  • No publicly listed owners: Unlike legitimate companies (like FigLoans with founders Jeffrey Zhou and John Li), CashUSA does not publicly identify who owns or runs the company.
  • A dissolved entity named "Cash USA Hartselle, Inc.": Records show this Alabama Domestic Corporation (Registration Number 201-942) was registered by Dale Hensley as both Registered Agent and Incorporator. The company is now marked as "Dissolved" .
  • The website operates separately: The current CashUSA.com website appears to be run by a different entity than the dissolved Alabama corporation. However, that entity also does not publicly disclose ownership.
  • Active avoidance of transparency: CashUSA's own privacy policy and website contain no "About Us" section naming founders, executives, or owners. They hide behind functional descriptions only.

The Critical Warning About Unregistered or Anonymous Loan Apps:

If a loan provider cannot or will not tell you who owns the company, DO NOT USE THEM. Here is why:

The Pattern of Anonymous "Lenders":

CashUSA fits a dangerous pattern. BBB complaints repeatedly describe people receiving calls from debt collectors claiming to represent "Personal Cash USA Corporation" or similar names—entities that cannot be verified to exist . One complaint states: "I can't find any info on personal cash... I have never taken out a payday loan but they have all my info down to my social security number" .

What You Should Do:

  1. Do not apply to any loan service that does not clearly list: Company name, physical address, executive leadership, and state registration numbers
  2. If you have already applied to CashUSA, contact them immediately to request deletion of your data (service@cashusa.com)
  3. Monitor your credit reports for the next 12-24 months for unauthorized accounts
  4. Place a fraud alert on your credit file if you shared your Social Security number

Bottom Line: CashUSA hides its ownership. That alone is reason to stay away. Legitimate lenders are proud to identify themselves. Data harvesters hide.
