What is the legal interest rate cap?
Different countries have different caps. Here are the current legal limits:
Canada: 35% APR
UK: 100% total cost cap
US: Varies by state (36% in some states, no cap in others)
Nigeria: Varies by lender type (CBN guidelines apply usually 48% for Microfinance Banks 40% for Banks. )
