One nasty comment people do say is Did they force you to collect a loan and did you not read their terms and Conditions?

Back

That's one of the most mumu questions to ask, Yes they did not force us, at the same time they have no right to violate moneylending practices. Simply because any organization that wants to start Money monger business must follow CBN guidelines and policy.

There are many good loan apps, and we protect them. Apps like Carbon, Umba, Branch, and many others offer legitimate services.

No one can come here and claim they owe these apps money without being willing to pay back; we will fight such behavior.

The government has provided several ways for lenders to recover their money, such as:

1. Auto-debit with or without a debit card.

2. Reporting to the Credit Bureau, which prevents borrowers from getting another loan, even from banks, until they pay.

3. Using debt recovery agencies to schedule payments for borrowers.

Unfortunately, moneylenders don't want to use these means because they're milking people by defaming them.
