Lendsafe

I borrowed money from LendSafe during a difficult time when I was financially unstable and unemployed. Instead of giving reasonable time or humane communication, the app resorted to harassment and intimidation. I received threatening messages claiming they would disturb my family, especially my mother, and even went as far as making false and frightening statements about my health and personal life. They also sent messages pretending to be lawyers and recovery managers, using fake office addresses and legal titles to scare me into paying money I clearly stated I did not have.

At no point did LendSafe follow ethical or legal debt-recovery practices. Their approach relied solely on fear, shame, and emotional abuse rather than lawful procedures. This experience caused me significant emotional distress. I believe loan recovery should be done with dignity and within the law. No borrower deserves harassment, threats, or false accusations because of financial hardship. I am sharing this to warn others and to encourage regulators to look closely into the activities of such loan apps.

Lendsafe is a criminal organization, They operate by running ads on social media platforms most especially Facebook offering quick loans. Claiming to give out loans for a year period. But it is a lie, it is just 14 days. If you don't read properly, you will miss this info. If you miss your payment date for just one day they will start sending defamation messages as well as death threat to the two contacts you provided. Stay away from this loan app. They are a criminal organization.

On Saturday, Lendsafe contacted me regarding my loan, stating that it was two weeks overdue. I explained to the representative that I am currently facing financial difficulties. However, instead of offering assistance or understanding, she responded with a defamatory message, accusing me of being a criminal and threatening to call my workplace if I did not make payment by Monday at 10 AM.

Despite my efforts to assure her that I would make the payment by next week, she dismissed my response, saying she didn’t care.

This morning, she went ahead and called my office, falsely claiming that I took out a loan and refused to repay it, even though I had already assured her that I intend to settle the debt.
