Can I still pay them if they defame me?

Once a loan app has defamed you — by sharing your information, contacting your friends, or posting false claims — they have violated your privacy and broken the law. At that point, the agreement between you and them is already compromised.

You should report them to the FCCPC, CBN, and NDIC or any agencies in your country instead of paying. Paying them after such illegal behavior only encourages their abuse and gives them more power to exploit others.

Can loan apps post my pictures on social media?

You should not worry about loan apps threatening to post your picture on social media. If you check their accounts, you’ll notice most of them have fewer than 100 followers. This means they are mainly circulating your picture among themselves just to instill fear in you. Never pay a dime if any loan app posts your picture online; they are actually the ones owing you, not the other way around. Instead, report the account to the appropriate social media platform, and it will likely be closed down.

Can they auto-debit my account?

If you linked (bound) your ATM card during registration with a loan app, they can automatically debit your account. To prevent this, you should go to your bank, block the card, and request a new one.

For fully licensed Microfinance Banks that may use the Global Standing Instruction (GSI) or place a lien on your account, the safest option is to move your money to another bank account that has never been registered with loan apps. This will stop them from debiting your funds.

Can they come to my house or office to arrest me?

99% of loan apps cannot come to your house or office because most of them operate illegally and have no legal right to pursue you physically. Only fully licensed and approved Microfinance Banks with a registered office address and reputation as a legitimate financial institution can pay you a friendly visit, but never to arrest you.

This loan company is useless, I have been using their loan app for a while until 3days now I repay back my loan and accept another loan. The loan was successful just to send the money to my bank account I haven't receive it since now. I keep message them on their website they keep telling me to go make complain to my bank without any proof like reference number or something, you cant even see the transaction details nothing to give them in bank for the money to be trace to my account.

I found flaws in the app, when creating account, after inserting your email address, it does not send any mail to confirm if it's your actual email account, it just proceed, which is a very bad concept for an app, how will someone reset his/her password if he/she mistakenly put a false email address when registering. So i think there should be a fix for that.

I downloaded the app and filled in all the necessary personal information needed but when it got to add card, I added my card but what I keep seeing is adding card...... With blank space. I even called customer support they said I should uninstall and reinstall. I did that but yet still getting the same response. I was really disappointed with you guys

This app is beginning to annoy me. I registered and applied for a loan. I received a message that the money has been disbursed to my account but I haven't received anything. I even contacted my bank and I was told no such money is or will be received from Quick check. I have sent several messages but I keep getting the response that the money has been disbursed and the worst is that it is displaying in the app that I'm owing. This is theft and scam. Unfortunately, when i tried taking the second loan, it keep declining and telling me that am not qualified for loan. The new reply they now give to me each time i applied for loan is "keep the app installed in your phone for better chance of loan" . This is absurd
